College of San Mateo Visit, December 2022
We were invited by Prof. Jose Gutierrez to speak to students in his Introduction to Engineering course and MESA students. The visit included a lecture about microfluidics and its applications, a virtual tour of the Microfluidics Foundry and a live-streaming session with Biophysics PhD student Daria Wonderlick talked about her research and graduate school.
Ohlone College Visit, November 2022
We had an amazing time meeting with 24 students from the STEM CORE cohort during their Introduction to Engineering class taught by Prof. Rose-Margaret Ekeng-Itua. We presented a short lecture describing the applications of microfluidics followed by a hands on activity where students created gradients using microfluidic chips!
Foothill College Fieldtrip, July 2022

We were delighted to host ~30 students from the PRE-STEM Summer Institute at Foothill College. The students joined us for a Microfluidics Workshop that discussed applications of microfluidics to answer biological questions and experienced a droplet generator demonstration.
